About Justin Davey
Justin started making experimental films in December 2014 in LA. His first short films in 2016 Adulting and The Long Wet Grass, both made in West Ireland, won awards and screened at around 20 film festivals.
Montana Divided: A Climate Change Story, his first independent documentary, was shot in September 2017, completed in September 2018 and screened at several film festivals. An interview on the film is available here.
He freelances as a filmmaker/videographer, with a focus on the environment and natural beauty while continuing to write and produce his own projects. Currently, he is editing a short independent documentary filmed in Nepal on successful conservation efforts.
He has lived in England, Massachusetts, New York, Los Angeles, Ireland, San Francisco and after two months in Nepal is currently planning his next move.
