About Justin Davey
After studying Geography (BA) and Global Affairs (MSc) and several years working in marketing and tech in New York City, Justin started making experimental films in 2014 in LA. His first short films in 2016 Adulting and The Long Wet Grass, both made in West Ireland, won awards and screened at around 20 film festivals.
Montana Divided: A Climate Change Story (2018), his first independent documentary focused on melting glaciers in Glacier National Park and screened at several film festivals. An interview on the film is available here.
In July 2019, he completed Into The Jungle, a 10 minute documentary on successful conservation efforts in Bardiya National Park, Nepal. It will screen at film festivals in Ireland and Bhutan in September 2019.
He has lived in England, Massachusetts, New York City, Connecticut, Los Angeles, Galway (Ireland), San Francisco and after two months in Nepal is currently planning his next film project focused on the oceans.
He freelances as a video producer and wants to make you look good.
