About Justin Davey

Justin started making experimental films in December 2014 and his first short films Adulting and The Long Wet Grass, both made in West Ireland, won awards and screened at around 20 film festivals. Following this he made The Painter (from a three film project Lonely People set in London, New York and Galway) - a story told in Gaelic using film to preserve the Irish language.

Montana Divided: A Climate Change Story, his first independent documentary was completed in September 2018. It has screened at several film festivals and an interview on the film is available here.

He freelances as a videographer, with a focus on the environment, natural beauty, commercials and events while continuing to write and produce his own projects. He is always looking for opportunities to collaborate.

(And yes, he enjoyed attending university - Exeter and NYU.)
